HopperHacks 2024 - IMPORTANT DAY OF INFORMATION
Hi there,
Thank you for registering for HopperHacks, which will be starting today at 11:00 AM (EST)! This email will contain all the information you will need to know for the event. PLEASE READ IT THOROUGHLY - IT CONTAINS PRECIOUS INFORMATION!

Check-in
If you will be attending in person, check in time is from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the deVries Center (2nd floor). Please try to arrive on time! We will do our best to accommodate everyone who would like to attend in person, but available seating & swag will be on a first come, first serve basis.

You will be expected to have filled out the check-in form here before getting your food tickets & T-shirt wristbands. You can expect to receive the following while supplies last.

Please note that we only have 200 tickets & 200 wristbands to give out in order to accommodate the fire safety guidelines. These will be handed out starting from 11am and we will not be able to guarantee food/t-shirts once we are out. If we run out of seating you are still welcome to take part in HopperHacks virtually!

Discord
Discord will be our main point of contact. Here you can view announcements, event links, ask questions, and get live assistance.
On our Discord server, there is also a channel for participants still looking for teams called “#find-a-team”. If you are looking for teammates, feel free to use the Message Template in the Post Guidelines and chat there! If you are not looking for a team but would still like to connect with other participants, feel free to use the channel “#socials” to share your social media links, LinkedIn profiles, etc.
Here we will be live streaming our Opening Ceremony and our Closing Ceremony. Viewers can expect to join via the opening/closing ceremony stage on the Discord.
Google Meets
Here, we will be hosting our virtual activities and workshops. Some workshops on Saturday will be held both in-person and streamed onGoogle Meets. Workshop on Sunday will be held virtually on Google Meets. If you have questions regarding workshops we encourage you to ask them in the workshop specific text-channel on discord!
Google Meets links will be announced on the HopperHacks Discord server. We welcome you to be active in these calls, so ask questions and interact with workshop presenters! Please remember to be respectful during these Google Meets calls. Do not share these links with people who are not attending HopperHacks.
Zoom
We will have a singular virtual zoom meeting for team-building workshop only.
